Ian began training in 1985. Firstly as a psychotherapist & counsellor and in the last years he’s added clinical supervision and organisational development. Ian began work in therapeutic communities with substance users and their families and established a charity working with this group. In 2001 he achieved an MA in Adolescent & Systemic Family Therapy Most recently (2006) he trained as a clinical supervisor.
He specialises in working with adolescents, individuals, couples and families.
He is particularly interested in life change as crisis & opportunity, in living with chronic pain and, as a father of two, in working alongside young people in these difficult times..
